Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer or Principal Mechanical Engineer for the Sentinel (GBSD) program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on mechanical design of systems and launch equipment, collaborating with users and engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.

The candidate will work with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and MBSE practices. The position requires DoD Secret clearance, strong CAD experience, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with a focus on

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience for Mechanical Engineer level.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3 years for Principal level.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required and SAP access within reasonable time.
• Minimum 2 years CAD modeling experience (Siemens NX preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a mechanical designer for mechanical systems on a major Defense Systems program.
• Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical/aerospace products and launch equipment.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs through modeling, simulations, and test data analysis.
• Support all lifecycle phases from design to maintenance.
• Perform sizing analyses for stress and dynamic response; interface with customers.
