Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience for Mechanical Engineer level.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3 years for Principal level.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required and SAP access within reasonable time.
• Minimum 2 years CAD modeling experience (Siemens NX preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mechanical designer for mechanical systems on a major Defense Systems program.
• Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical/aerospace products and launch equipment.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs through modeling, simulations, and test data analysis.
• Support all lifecycle phases from design to maintenance.
• Perform sizing analyses for stress and dynamic response; interface with customers.
