Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop launch-equipment hardware for the Sentinel program. You will create CAD models, perform analyses, and support all lifecycle phases from concept to field deployment.

You will collaborate with users, customers, and engineers to deliver high-performance mechanical solutions while mentoring junior staff and contributing to program milestones. This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of experience for Principal level; or Master’s with 3 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mechanical designer for systems on a Defense Systems program.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs via modeling, simulation, and test data analysis.
• Support design through production, test, installation, and maintenance.
• Lead design teams and communicate with customers and IPT.
• Mentor junior engineers in mechanical design.
