Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Sr Principal Engineer based in Eastern Washington to drive multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across the state.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while guiding design and delivery, mentoring junior staff, and expanding our client base with a seller-doer approach. You will collaborate with our regional offices, travel to Richland and Walla Walla, and shape road, bridge, and multimodal projects from planning through construction, ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 15+ years managing infrastructure projects in WA and OR.
• PE license in WA and OR or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design projects from pursuit through construction.
• Strong knowledge of WSDOT/AASHTO/MUTCD standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects with budgets over several million dollars.
• Lead business development and expand client relationships across WA and OR.
• Provide technical leadership for roadway, bridge, and multimodal projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across disciplines and offices.
• Mentor junior engineers and project managers; represent the firm at client meetings.
