Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager of Financial Pricing to blend strategic finance, pricing, and commercial decision support. You will guide pricing strategy, financial oversight, forecasting, and performance analysis to support sales and operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 6+ years in finance/pricing/analytical roles; 3+ in pricing/contract economics.
• Experience partnering with sales/ops; pricing model development in Excel.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Knowledge of incentive compensation and margin management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor analysts; oversee work planning and performance reviews.
• Advise sales and operations on pricing strategy and trade-offs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and process optimization.
• Support pricing deals with cost modeling and margin evaluation.
• Provide analytics for commissions, sales metrics, and incentives.
• Disseminate pricing guidelines, tools, and strategies to leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on pricing and incentive design.
• Train field and sales on pricing methodologies and forecast variances.
• Develop and maintain pricing/financial models for opportunities.
• Advise on risk, cost controls, and business opportunities.
• Support monthly/annual forecasting related to pricing and profitability.
• Participate in deal strategy to set margin requirements.
