Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager Financial Pricing to blend strategic finance, pricing, and commercial decision support for the Sales and Operations teams in the United States.

You will lead pricing strategy, provide analytical insight, and mentor analysts while guiding deal structures, cost modeling, and margin optimization. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to drive disciplined decision-making and forecast-driven results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• MBA or related field is preferred.
• 6+ years in progressive finance/pricing/analytics roles.
• 3+ years supporting complex pricing, deal evaluation and contract economics.
• 4+ years partnering with sales and operations leadership.
• 3+ years in financial/pricing model development in Excel or similar.
• Pricing strategy, deal economics and margin management.
• Financial planning, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Understanding incentive compensation and commission structures.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or asset-based service models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop analysts with coaching and performance reviews.
• Act as a financial advisor to sales leaders and operations on pricing strategy.
• Lead ad hoc improvement projects and process optimization.
• Provide analytical support for pricing: deal structuring, cost modeling, margin evaluation.
• Deliver commissions calculations, sales analytics and incentive reporting.
• Share pricing guidelines, tools, and strategies with leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR and Compensation on pricing and incentives.
• Train field and sales teams on pricing methodology and variance analysis.
• Develop pricing/financial models for opportunity evaluation.
• Advise on risk, cost controls and business opportunities.
• Support monthly forecasting and annual planning for pricing and profitability.
• Participate in deal strategy to set margin requirements.
• Identify trends and risks from data and propose actions.
