Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist to lead labor compliance across national projects, review wage determinations, apprenticeships, and PLA compliance, and serve as the escalation point for audits and inquiries.

The role requires strong regulatory expertise and independent judgment in a fast-paced construction environment. The position is fully remote with travel to SOLV Energy offices or job sites as needed; discuss location expectations during interview.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in labor compliance.
• 5+ years of compliance experience on federally/state funded construction projects.
• Experience leading a team of compliance professionals.
• Deep knowledge of federal/state labor laws including DBRA/DOL and public works.
• Expertise in prevailing wage enforcement, certified payroll auditing and risk assessments.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and contractors across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nationwide labor compliance leadership across projects and contractors.
• Manage complex prevailing wage obligations for self-perform work and subs.
• Review DOL classification requests and supporting docs for compliance.
• Interpret wage determinations, apprenticeship utilization, PLA and Two-Trade rules.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and address findings with leadership.
• Coordinate audits and responses with clients, federal/state agencies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on evolving wage laws.
