Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists in delivering the right technical solutions for customer needs.

You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers while participating in customer meetings to advance deals. These remote positions require residing in one of the US regions listed and involve travel to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization, including CIO/CTO/IT Directors/Application Managers, to sell and build relationships.
• Collaborating with the sales team to help close deals by speaking to the technical side of solutions.
• Engaging the Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically training sales team on solution positioning to match enterprise needs.
• Monitoring employee performance, providing feedback, and driving recognition.
