Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers and specialists, coaching them to deliver the right technical solutions for customers. You will participate in customer meetings, drive the sales process forward, and help close deals with the team.
These remote roles require residency in US regions to support business needs (West/NorthEast/Southeast and more). You will mentor staff, train the sales team on solution positioning, and collaborate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security and Network sales opportunities.
- Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
- Position requires 35% travel for business.
Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers.
- Involve in customer meetings to move the process forward and actively close deals with the team.
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Application Managers to sell and build relationships.
- Collaborate with sales to address the technical side of recommended solutions.
- Train sales on company solution practices and market needs.
- Monitor performance and drive accountability within the team.
