SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists, driving technical solutions to meet customer needs.

You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers, and participate in customer meetings to move the process forward and actively close deals with the team. These remote positions cover US regions and require guiding the sales team with strong leadership and deep technical expertise across data center, cloud,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization, including CIO/CTO, IT Directors, and Application Managers, to sell and build relationships.
• Collaborating with sales team to close deals by addressing the technical side of solutions.
• Engaging Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Training sales team on positioning of company solution practices and enterprise needs.
• Monitoring employee performance and attendance records, providing actionable feedback, and driving recognition.
