Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers and specialists, coaching and developing them to deliver the right technical solutions for customers. The role involves participating in customer meetings to advance deals and close opportunities.

These positions are remote within specified US regions. You will coach, train, and mentor the team, collaborate with sales, and drive strategic, cross-functional initiatives to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to help close deals by addressing the technical side of solutions.
• Engage the Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically train sales teams on the positioning of company solution practices.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance, provide feedback, and drive recognition.
