Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to coach and develop a team of Solutions Engineers, Architects, and Specialists, guiding technical sales to meet customer needs and actively close deals.

These remote positions require residence in designated US regions; you will train the sales team, engage with CIOs/IT Directors, and collaborate to deliver the right technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborating with sales team to help close deals by speaking to the technical side of recommended solutions.
• Engaging the Local Technology Community and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically training sales team on the positioning of company solution practices, ensuring they understand customers' ongoing enterprise needs.
• Monitoring employee performance and attendance records, acting on performance issues in a fair and consistent manner by providing actionable feedback, and driving employee recognition.
