Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to autonomously manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects across multiple locations. You will lead site selection, design management, permitting, and contract execution while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to define scope, budget, and schedule.

The role requires 60% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience on design through operation.
• Experience with packaging, processing, or logistical facilities with complex equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead autonomously cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection to permit and contract execution.
• Oversee design management end-to-end, including design evaluations and value engineering.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and external vendor partnerships across regions.
• Mentor and develop other preconstruction managers and drive best practices.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, and Construction teams to secure resources and milestones.
