Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services to lead industrial preconstruction across North America. You will oversee site selection, design management, permitting, and contract execution, coordinating with architects, engineers, and vendors to keep programs on schedule and within budget.

You will travel up to 60% regionally, manage multi-location projects, and provide risk analyses and KPI reviews to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, or Owner's representative in commercial development.
• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and preconstruction of industrial projects from site selection through permitting and contract execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, design consultants, and AHJ to ensure compliance and timely approvals.
• Develop scope, budgets, schedules, and risk analyses; manage multiple large projects across locations.
• Provide KPI feedback on safety, cost, quality, and schedule to leadership.
