Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead cross-functional, cross-region preconstruction efforts for built-to-suit and expansion projects within the North America Design & Construction team.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to define scope, budget, and schedule, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risk across multiple industrial projects while travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience as an Owner's representative or in related disciplines.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to secure permits and approvals.
• Lead cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion and contract execution.
• Manage multiple large industrial projects across diverse locations.
• Develop budgets and schedules; perform conceptual estimating and pricing reviews.
