Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager in the GES NA Design & Construction group. You will autonomously manage complex industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through permit and contract execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners across the region.

You will lead design management, cost control, and scheduling, with a 60% travel emphasis and mandatory on-site collaboration when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce safety programs and standards across all project teams during planning and preconstruction phases.
• Lead design management end-to-end, including evaluations and value engineering assessments.
• Manage multiple large industrial projects across locations with limited oversight.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and decisions across internal and external teams.
• Mentor and develop junior preconstruction managers and expand internal construction networks.
• Represent Amazon in high-level briefings and lead negotiations with developers and contractors.
