Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for North America Design & Construction to lead complex industrial preconstruction projects across the region. You will manage site selection, design validation, permitting, and contract execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure scope, budget, and schedule alignment.

You will drive risk analysis, KPI review, and upstream issue resolution while supporting the Construction Manager through project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or Owner's representative in commercial development and construction.
• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to ensure regulatory compliance and permitting.
• Independently manage cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection, scope development, and design management with design teams to meet Amazon's standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent large industrial projects across locations.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, and perform conceptual estimating.
