Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in its Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction team. You will independently manage complex industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution across multiple locations, supporting Amazon's logistics network infrastructure.

The role emphasizes coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining KPI-driven project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in design, construction, or development.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-location industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage difficult, cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection and validation, scope development, and design management—coordinating with design teams to develop site plans and floor plans.
• Manage multiple concurrent large industrial projects across various locations.
• Drive timely decisions, identify blockers, and escalate as needed to keep projects on track.
• Assess project performance through KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
• Prepare and present project status and risk reports for leadership.
