Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction. You will act as the owner’s representative, independently managing complex industrial preconstruction projects from site selection to design completion, permitting, and contract execution across the region.

Key responsibilities include leading planning, design management, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination to ensure scope, schedule, and permits are defined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Experience negotiating contracts, procurement, and labor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and KPIs across multiple projects and locations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure scope, risk, and compliance.
