Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Design & Construction to act as owner's representative during the preconstruction phase. You will independently manage cross-functional industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.

You will partner with internal/external stakeholders to define scope, budget, and schedule, leading planning, design, and preconstruction for built-to-suit facilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience from design through construction.
Willingness to travel up to 60% nationwide.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction planning from site selection through design completion and permitting.
Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, and Construction teams.
Develop budgets, schedules, and conceptual estimates; manage KPIs.
Interface with AHJ for permitting and regulatory compliance.
Ensure handoff to Construction Manager with clear scope and risks.
