Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction to independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects across the region.

You will lead site selection, design management, permitting, and contract execution while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure scope, budget, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or Owner's rep.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related tools.
• CMIT/CMAA or PMP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interface with AHJ to ensure regulatory compliance and timely permits.
• Lead cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Manage multiple concurrent industrial projects across locations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and cashflow forecasting.
• Provide conceptual estimating and pricing reviews; negotiate costs with developers and contractors.
• Review design contracts and lease agreements; ensure adherence to standards.
