Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction seeks a Preconstruction Manager to serve as the owner's representative during the preconstruction phase. You will independently manage complex industrial projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution across your region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to secure permits.
• Lead cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion.
• Manage multiple large industrial projects across locations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and KPIs for project performance.
• Review design and contracts; negotiate terms with vendors and partners.
