Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to serve as owner's representative during the preconstruction phase of facility delivery. You will manage complex, cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution for Amazon's logistics facilities across the assigned region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in architecture, engineering, construction management or related fields.
• Experience spanning design through operation and contract negotiation.
• Workers with packaging/logistics facility experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 60% within assigned regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional pre-construction projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance and external partners.
• Lead site selection, validation, scope development, and design management per standards.
• Oversee budget tracking, schedule, and cashflow for multiple projects.
• Coordinate permitting with AHJ and ensure code compliance.
• Review design contracts and levers of project terms; prepare risk narratives.
