Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within GES NA Design & Construction to independently manage complex industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through permitting and contract execution. You will lead planning, design validation, budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination to support Amazon's logistics network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, or Owner's representative in commercial development.
• Familiarity with design and construction processes and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and manage complex preconstruction programs.

Responsibilities

• Interface with AHJ to ensure permitting, codes, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion and contracting.
• Develop scope, budgets and schedules; manage vendor and design teams.
• Review design documents to ensure adherence to Amazon's standards and requirements.
• Coordinate with Real Estate and Transaction teams on entitlement strategy and procurement.
• Provide estimating support and assist in price reviews with stakeholders.
