Job summary

Flintco is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar EPC projects, guiding cross-functional teams from development through contract execution.

You will coordinate with BD, engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations, develop project strategies, manage risk and value engineering, and foster client relationships to position projects for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical/Architectural Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10 years’ experience in commercial construction and related preconstruction/marketing activities.
• Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications.
• Experience with value engineering and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution and construction strategies during proposals and RFP phases.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams between BD, engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations.
• Prepare and tabulate unit quantities and price estimates using cost data.
• Cultivate relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineering Firms, Consultants, and Subcontractors.
