Job summary

Flintco, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction activities for utility-scale solar EPC projects from early development through final contract execution.

You will bridge business development, engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to ensure projects are technically feasible and commercially competitive, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical/Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, estimating systems, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution and construction strategies during proposal and RFP phases.
• Coordinate with EPC teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies pre-mobilization.
• Lead transition from development to on-site construction teams and ensure smooth handoff.
• Meet with client management and staff to explain capabilities and manage expectations.
• Assist in cost estimation, scheduling, and value engineering to optimize LCOE.
