Job summary

SunEnergy1 is seeking an EPC Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of utility-scale solar PV projects. You will supervise field teams, coordinate with engineering, procurement, safety, and QA to ensure the project meets specifications and schedules.

This role requires extensive travel to project sites, strong knowledge of EPC contracts, and a proven track record managing large subcontractors and complex sequencing from mobilization through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in construction management, with 3+ years on utility-scale solar EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV construction methods, electrical systems, and civil works.
• Experience managing large subcontractor teams and multiple scopes.
• Understanding EPC contracts, schedules, and cost controls.
• Proficiency with CPM tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
• Willingness to travel extensively and work full-time on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead all construction activities for utility-scale solar PV projects from mobilization to turnover.
• Manage daily field operations, sequencing, and workforce planning to meet milestones.
• Represent EPC company in meetings with owners, inspectors, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, and logistics with Procurement and Site Logistics teams.
• Support change management and field directives, and potential claims.
• Oversee inspections, testing, punch list resolution, and closeout activities.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance on site.
