Flintco is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar EPC projects, guiding cross-functional teams from development through contract execution.
You will coordinate with BD, engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations, develop project strategies, manage risk and value engineering, and foster client relationships to position projects for successful delivery.

The Senior Preconstruction Manager is responsible for leading all preconstruction activities for utility‑scale, commercial, and industrial solar EPC projects from early‑stage development through final contract execution. This role serves as the primary bridge between business development, engineering, estimating, procurement, operations, and clients to ensure projects are technically feasible, commercially competitive, and positioned for successful execution.

Effectively trains, coaches, disciplines and develops employees to achieve and maintain positive working relationships within the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Ability to represent to all persons the Flintco Ethos that encourages the highest level of performance, integrity and morale. Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents including plans and specifications, proposals, quotes, and qualifications. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions. Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to write and interpret technical documents such as management plans, proposals and complex estimates. Organizes and manages time, duties and activities effectively. Knowledge of utility‑scale solar construction scopes and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Proficiency in scheduling platforms (Primavera P6), estimating systems, and document control tools like Procore.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Civil/Electrical/Architectural Engineering, or similar or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 years’ experience in commercial construction and experience in a variety of marketing and/or sales functions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Open to a hybrid work arrangement, with the understanding that the position requires travel to project sites and area offices as needed.
