Job summary

Flintco, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead electrical and self-perform estimates for Renewable Energy projects, including Solar and Energy Storage (BESS). You will manage the bid process, coordinate with subcontractors, and present cost estimates to leadership.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 5–7 years of estimating experience are expected. The role involves reading plans, evaluating pricing, and maintaining estimating standards while

Qualifications

Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents including plans and specifications.
Experience in electrical estimating and cost control for large-scale projects, including BESS.
Leadership of estimators and collaboration with project management teams.

Responsibilities

Lead self-perform mechanical and electrical estimates from RFP inception to handover.
Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid documents, and proposal evaluation.
Present estimates to executive leadership and maintain pricing databases.
Develop studies, materials and methods, and cost estimates as required.
Coordinate with clients, designers and management during pre-design and design phases.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates prepared by team members.
