Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect in Denver for a hybrid work model. You will guide customers to design and build scalable data-driven solutions using MongoDB, collaborating with sales to move opportunities forward.

The ideal candidate has extensive customer-facing experience and deep knowledge of cloud-based distributed systems. You will engage in architecture reviews, demonstrations, and value articulation, helping clients understand technical and business benefits.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in a customer-facing role with 5–7 years in pre-sales.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect scalable, performant applications and systems for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, communicating business value to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales to drive account success through planning, qualification, and pipeline strategy.
• Generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster strong customer relationships and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
• Stay current with MongoDB product suite and industry trends through ongoing training.
