Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to guide customers in designing scalable, reliable data platform solutions. You will partner with sales to drive account success, deliver technical discovery, demos, and value demonstrations, while mentoring fellow team members.

You will work with customers across startups to large enterprises, articulating MongoDB’s business value and architecture patterns to optimize deployments in cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in a customer-facing role, 5–7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• 3+ years with modern scripting languages (Python/Node.js/SQL) or popular languages (C/C++/Java/C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud and on-premise architectures.
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and guide improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications and infrastructure using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and articulate business value.
• Partner with sales to drive account success, including discovery, demos, and value proof.
• Generate demand through technical initiatives and events; mentor team members.
• Promote ongoing training and development across the Solutions Consulting group.
• Stay current with MongoDB product suite and industry trends.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure success.
