Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect in New York City to guide customers in designing and deploying scalable data-driven architectures on our platform.

You will work with sales to align technical solutions with business needs, and help customers realize value through demos, PoVs, and architectural reviews. You will collaborate with customers from startups to Fortune 100 enterprises, travel up to 25%, and mentor peers while staying current with Atlas and related cloud

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in a customer-facing role, with 5–7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
• 3+ years in scripting/programming (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL; or C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed cloud/on-prem systems.
• Ability to review complex architectures and advise on improvements using technology.
• Excellent presentation and communication for leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large projects leveraging the company's data platform.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and communicate business value to stakeholders.
• Partner withSales teams to drive account success through technical discovery, demos, and value proof.
• Generate demand in the sales territory through technical initiatives and industry events.
• Foster customer relationships and ensure success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay current with product trends.
