Job summary

MongoDB seeks a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect in Paris hybrid to guide enterprise customers in designing scalable data platforms using MongoDB. You will partner with sales, deliver architectural guidance, and drive account strategy with strong technical leadership.

Ideal candidates have extensive pre-sales experience, cloud design expertise, and a track record of thought leadership. Travel up to 25% is expected, with a Master’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As ideal candidate, 12+ years in customer-facing roles with 7+ years in pre-sales across complex enterprise software sales cycles.
• Minimum 3 years in modern scripting languages (Python/Node.js/SQL) and/or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Strong ability to review and guide customer architectures leveraging MongoDB solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect scalable applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and communicate business value to stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales to drive account planning, qualification, and pipeline generation with technical lead.
• Generate demand through events, industry activities, and targeted initiatives in the sales territory.
• Foster customer success, build champions, and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
• Share best practices and publish thought leadership through articles or talks.
