The role emphasizes designing for cloud and on-prem deployments, delivering compelling technical value, and traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Ideally 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer facing role, with 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
• Demonstrated ability to review complex architecture with customers and improve using technology.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for leadership audiences.
• Ability to strategize with sales teams and align MongoDB resources for account planning.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimisation strategies while communicating business value.
• Collaborate with sales to drive account success through planning, qualification, and pipeline generation.
• Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay updated on MongoDB products.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with MongoDB product suite.
