Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
• NETA levels and safety knowledge are preferred for advanced techs.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and data collection of HV/LV electrical systems.
• Switchgear and circuit breaker testing.
• Inspection, maintenance, testing and repair of transformers and related equipment.
• Filling and working with SF6 filled GCBs and gas insulated switchgear.
• Testing and inspecting low and medium voltage cable installations.
• Operate high voltage test equipment (Doble M4000).
• Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of controls and transfer schemes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by project leader.
