Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Field Tech / Sr Field Tech positions to service and test power transmission equipment across customer sites. Responsibilities include testing, startup, inspection and data collection on HV/LV systems up to 500kV, with emphasis on protective relaying, switchgear, transformers and circuit breakers.

Positions require NETA certification levels II–IV, strong electrical theory, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year in related field.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing and oil testing or military training in power systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and data-collect on HV/LV electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Install, commission, test and maintain relay equipment, panels, transformers and breakers.
• Develop procedures for relay systems commissioning, testing and maintenance.
