Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Sr. Service Field Tech to service, test and maintain power transmission and distribution equipment across high and very high voltage systems.

You will inspect and troubleshoot HV gear, perform startup and testing, and respond to emergencies as part of a rotating on-call schedule. The role requires strong safety knowledge, NEC/NETA/OSHA/NFPA awareness, and excellent communication with customers and peers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience with 5 years in a related field.
• Knowledge of NEC/NETA/OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Strong HV knowledge up to 230 kV and testing experience.
• Ability to work safely and follow electrical safety procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on HV systems up to 500kV.
• Test switchgear and circuit breakers; maintain transformers and related gear.
• Perform startup, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Respond to customer emergencies during on-call rotations.
• Prepare on-site reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
