Job summary

Eaton’s Power Systems Controls group seeks an experienced engineer to lead the development, testing, and deployment of PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications. This hybrid role combines design work with site support and field start-ups as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with several years of power distribution controls experience and a valid driver’s license. A PE license is preferred and a company vehicle is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years in power distribution controls.
• Driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• PE License preferred or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications.
• Follow customer specs and internal standards for project delivery.
• Prepare BOMs, sketches, and SOO; support field start-ups and testing.
• Troubleshoot systems in operation.
