Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team is seeking a power systems controls engineer to design, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. You will work with customer specifications and internal standards to select components and generate BOMs, drawings, and test procedures.

The role requires a engineering degree with significant power distribution controls experience and a valid driver’s license; PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of power distribution controls experience or Master’s with 5+ years, or 10+ years total.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record; background check on hire.
• PE license is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications.
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and prepare BOMs.
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for drawings.
• Prepare SOOs, test procedures, and customer submittals.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
