Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team offers a hybrid role focused on developing, testing, and implementing power systems control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, protection relays, and data concentrators from major OEMs.

The Power Systems Controls (PSC) group acts as a full-service integrator, delivering complete automation solutions and seamless integration across HMIs, PLCs, relays, and components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with power distribution controls experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with power distribution controls experience.
• Minimum 10 years of power distribution controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications.
• Follow customer specifications and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials.
• Provide sketches, mark-ups, and direction to Electrical Designers to develop project drawings.
• Prepare customer submittals and test procedures.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
• Troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly.
