Eaton Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced engineer to lead development, testing, and implementation of power systems control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and protection relays. The role includes design, testing, and field startups, with a driver license and compliance to safety programs.
The position offers a competitive salary with paid overtime and a company vehicle, and requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with substantial power distribution controls
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with extensive power distribution controls experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of power distribution controls experience or 10+ years total experience.
- PE License preferred. Knowledge of protocol standards (Modbus, DNP3, IEC-61850) is advantageous.
Mansioni
- Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, etc.).
- Follow customer specifications and internal specs for project implementation.
- Select components and prepare bill of materials.
- Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for drawings.
- Prepare SOO, test procedures, and customer submittals.
- Assist with factory testing and field start-ups; troubleshoot issues.
