Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team seeks a Power Systems Controls Engineer to develop, test, and implement PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. You will work on Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, and related configurations, aligning with customer specs and internal standards.

Responsibilities include selecting components, creating BOMs, guiding Electrical Designers, preparing SOO and test procedures, and supporting factory testing and field start-ups

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of power distribution controls experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years, or 10+ years total experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record and will require a background check on hire.
• Regular Driver designation per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy.

Responsabilidades

• Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs and HMIs for Power Transfer applications.
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials.
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
• Prepare customer submittals, SOO, and test procedures.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
• Troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly.
