Zusammenfassung

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team seeks a power systems controls engineer to develop, test, and implement PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications and related protection relays and data concentrators.

You will collaborate to follow customer specs, select components, prepare submittals and SOO, and assist with factory testing and field start-ups; a driver’s license and background checks apply.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years in power distribution controls OR Master’s with 5+ years OR 10+ years in power distribution controls.
• Requires current, unrestricted driver’s license and clean MVR; background check on hire.

Aufgaben

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, etc.).
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials.
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
• Prepare customer submittals, SOO, and test procedures.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
• Troubleshoot systems not functioning properly.
