Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Senior Power Systems Architect to own the technical relationship with key customers, translate system-level power requirements into connector and cable specifications, and drive design-in activities for high-performance data center power interconnects.

You will work cross-functionally with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D, mentor junior engineers, and represent Amphenol in front of hyperscalers and OEM partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience translating system-level power requirements into connector/cable specs.
• Strong written/verbal communication for direct customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own technical requirements-gathering relationship with customer engineering teams.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector/cable requirements.
• Lead power architecture discussions and present solutions to customers.
• Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to shape roadmap.
• Develop and own technical requirement documents for new products.
• Lead design-in activities at customer sites.
• Track industry standards and contribute to power interconnect roadmaps.
• Deliver voice of customer insights to internal roadmap and new development.
• Mentor junior engineers and identify early architecture shifts.
