Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Power Systems Architect to own technical customer engagements and translate power needs into connector and cable solutions for data centers and hyperscale environments.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, drive requirements, lead design-in activities, and mentor junior engineers while traveling to customer and manufacturing sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with relevant power interconnect experience.
• Experience translating system-level power requirements into connector/cable specifications.
• Willingness to travel to customer and manufacturing sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently own the technical requirements-gathering relationship with customer engineering teams for power architecture requirements.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector and cable specifications to define product development.
• Lead power architecture discussions with customer engineering teams, presenting options and roadmaps.
• Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to shape roadmap decisions in response to customer requirements.
• Develop and own technical requirement documents and specification inputs for new product development and design-in activities.
• Lead qualification, validation, and design-in activities for new power interconnect solutions at customer sites.
• Track and contribute to relevant industry standards and consortia (e.g., OCP) that shape power delivery roadmaps.
• Deliver customer and market insight back into internal roadmap and development.
