Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol, seeks a Senior Power Systems Architect to lead system-level power architecture and connector interconnect engineering for key customers. You will translate power requirements into connector specs and guide roadmap decisions with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading customer discussions, developing technical requirements, and mentoring junior engineers. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in EE/Mech or related field.
• Experience translating power requirements into connector specs.
• HV/high-current interconnect design knowledge for data centers.
• Proven customer relationship management and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own technical requirements gathering with customer engineering teams.
• Translate system power architecture into connector/cable requirements.
• Lead power architecture discussions with customer teams and roadmap alignment.
• Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D on roadmap decisions.
• Develop and own technical requirement docs for new product development.
• Lead qualification, validation, and design-in activities at customer sites.
• Track industry standards and contribute to standards and consortia.
• Deliver voice of customer insights to internal roadmap.
• Mentor junior engineers and identify architecture shifts early.
