Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Staff Power Systems Architect to lead power architecture strategies for data center and industrial interconnects. You will work directly with hyperscalers and partners to translate system-level requirements into connector and cable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience owning strategic technical relationships at a senior/principal level.
• Deep expertise in high-voltage/high-current power architecture for data center or industrial infrastructure.
• Proven ability to influence roadmap and business decisions with technical input.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for requirements gathering and strengthen customer engineering relationships for power architecture.
• Translate complex system-level power architectures into connector/cable requirements for product development.
• Act as the senior technical spokesperson for power architecture discussions with customer leadership.
• Shape multi-year connector/cable roadmap and investment decisions in response to market shifts.
• Define specification frameworks and technical documentation standards used across teams.
• Provide design-in support for qualification, validation, and design-in challenges.
• Represent the organization in industry standards bodies and consortia (e.g., OCP).
• Provide strategic customer and market insight that shapes long-range roadmap and new product development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the technical team.
• Identify long-term architecture shifts and translate them into product roadmap and investment recommendations.
