Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Staff Power Systems Architect to drive power architecture strategy and translate system needs into connector and cable solutions. You will work directly with hyperscalers and partners, serving as the senior technical liaison across customer engineering teams and internal product groups.

Responsibilities include leading multi-year roadmaps, developing technical specifications, and guiding design-in efforts while mentoring other engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field with substantial power engineering experience.
• 10–12 years in power connector or systems engineering roles.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for requirements gathering with customer engineering teams.
• Translate system-level power architectures into connector and cable requirements.
• Lead customer-facing solution discussions and long-term roadmap alignment.
• Shape multi-year connector/cable roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Develop specification frameworks and technical documentation standards.
• Provide design-in support and resolve complex qualification challenges.
• Represent the organization in industry standards bodies.
