Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Staff Power Systems Architect to lead power delivery architecture strategy for high-voltage interconnects and cables. You will engage with hyperscalers and OEM partners, translating system requirements into connector solutions while influencing multi-year roadmaps across global teams.

You will serve as the senior technical liaison, driving design-in excellence, qualification leadership, and industry standards participation to differentiate Amphenol's offerings

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Deep expertise in high-voltage/high-current power architecture for data center/industrial infrastructure.
• Experience owning strategic technical relationships at senior/principal level.
• Experience representing a company within industry standards organizations.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor other engineers and influence roadmap and business decisions with technical input.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsabilités

• Set the strategy for technical requirements gathering and strengthening the relationship with customer engineering teams for power architecture requirements.
• Lead the translation of complex system-level power architectures into connector and cable technology requirements to define product development.
• Act as the senior technical spokesperson for power architecture discussions at customer leadership level, presenting solution strategy and long-term roadmap alignment.
• Shape multi-year connector/cable roadmap and investment decisions in response to anticipated shifts in customer power architecture.
• Define specification frameworks and technical documentation standards used across teams for new product development and design-in.
• Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex qualification, validation, and design-in challenges.
• Represent the organization in industry standards bodies and consortia (e.g., OCP) that shape power delivery and interconnect direction.
• Provide strategic customer and market insight that directly shapes long-range roadmap and new product development planning.
