Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Senior Power Systems Architect to own customer-related power architecture requirements and translate them into connector and cable specifications. You will work with hyperscalers and data-center partners, guiding design-in activities and roadmap decisions across engineering teams.

The role demands strong communication, leadership of technical relationships, and willingness to travel to customer and manufacturing sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience translating system-level requirements into connector/cable specs and working with high-voltage interconnect design.

Responsabilités

• Own technical requirements gathering with customer engineering teams for power architecture.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector and cable requirements for product development.
• Lead power architecture discussions and present solution options and roadmaps to customers.
• Coordinate with product engineering, manufacturing and R&D to shape roadmap decisions.
• Develop and own technical requirement documents driving new product development and design-in activities.
• Lead qualification, validation and design-in activities at customer sites.
• Monitor and contribute to industry standards such as OCP and related specs.
• Provide voice of customer insights to inform internal roadmap and development.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical outputs.
• Identify architecture shifts early to influence internal roadmap planning.
