Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Staff Power Systems Architect to bridge customer engineering teams and internal product groups. You will translate complex high-voltage power architectures into connector and cable requirements, lead strategic programs, and influence multi-year roadmaps.

The role requires executive communication skills, global collaboration, and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline (Bachelor)
• 8+ years in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline (Master)
• Deep expertise in high-voltage/high-current power architecture for data center or industrial infra.
• Experience owning strategic technical relationships at senior engineering levels.
• Experience with industry standards organizations.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for technical requirements gathering and customer relationships for power architecture.
• Translate system-level power architectures into connector/cable requirements for product development.
• Serve as senior technical spokesperson for power architecture discussions with customers.
• Shape multi-year connector/cable roadmap and investment decisions.
• Define specification frameworks and documentation standards for new products.
• Provide design-in support for complex qualification and validation challenges.
• Represent organization in industry standards bodies (e.g., OCP).
• Provide strategic customer/market insights to shape roadmaps and new products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the team.
• Identify long-term architecture shifts and translate to product roadmap.
